who we are

My name is Janifer Cheng.

My professional history is in working for multi-media/entertainment companies ranging from major record labels, to a major national publishing company, and a major cable network in new media, operational support, business development, and online development.  Currently, it’s working for the largest audio/visual company in the world, supporting their operations in the east coast of the United States.

On the side, I have been a licensed casino entertainment dealer since 2004.  I’ve dealt Texas Holdem events for Caesars, World Poker Tour, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, as well as many others.  I also deal blackjack and roulette as well as teach potential dealers the tools of the trade.

I birthed the idea for OnTheFelt.com after years of working the circuit and seeing the repeated pitfalls of so many good intentioned events as well as witnessed the wonderful results of those that were executed flawlessly.  This blog-zine is co-authored by fellow dealers who I’ve worked with, who themselves are authors, performers, and all out hams who enjoy sharing their own experiences as well as expertise.
